This Astrologer Privacy Policy explains how AstroBless (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, processes, and protects the information of astrologers (“Astrologer,” “you,” or “your”) who register and provide services on the AstroBless platform.

By registering as an Astrologer on AstroBless, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
 

1. Eligibility & Account Access

  • Astrologers must register and create an account to access the platform.

  • Verification details may be required before account approval.

  • Access to the platform may require compliance with subscription-based or commission-based terms as defined in the Astrologer Agreement.

  • We reserve the right to approve, reject, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion in accordance with platform policies.
     

2. Information We Collect

To onboard and manage astrologer accounts, we may collect the following information:

A. Personal Information

  • Full Name

  • Email Address

  • Phone Number

  • Residential Address

  • Gender

  • Date of Birth

  • Profile Photo

B. Professional Information

  • Areas of Expertise

  • Experience Details

  • Certifications (if applicable)

  • Languages Known

  • Availability Schedule

  • Consultation Charges (if applicable)

  • Bank Account / UPI Details (for payouts)

C. Verification & Compliance Information

  • Government-issued ID Proof

  • PAN / Tax Identification Details (if required under applicable law)

  • Any additional documents required for regulatory compliance

This information is retained for account management, verification, compliance, and service improvement purposes.
 

3. How We Use Your Information

We use astrologer information to:

  • Create and manage your account

  • Verify your identity and qualifications

  • Process payouts and commissions

  • Facilitate video/audio consultations

  • Display your public profile to users

  • Improve platform performance and analytics

  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations

  • Communicate updates, policies, and service-related notices
     

4. App Permissions Required

Astrologers using the mobile application may be required to grant the following permissions:

  • Camera – For live video consultations

  • Microphone – For audio and video consultations

  • Contacts – (READ_CONTACTS, WRITE_CONTACTS), if required for in-app features

  • Location – (ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION) to enhance user matching and service experience

  • Device Permissions – INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED, VIBRATE

These permissions are necessary for smooth and secure operation of the application.
 

5. Payments & Payouts

Astrologers receive payments through third-party payment processors.

  • We do not store full bank account or card details on our servers.

  • Payment processors operate under their own privacy policies.

  • You are responsible for providing accurate and updated payout details.

  • Applicable taxes are the responsibility of the astrologer unless otherwise specified.
     

6. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services for analytics, authentication, and service improvement, including:

  • Google Play Services

  • Google Analytics for Firebase

  • Facebook

These services may collect limited technical and usage data in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
 

7. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell astrologer personal information.

We may share information:

  • With users for consultation purposes (e.g., profile name, expertise, languages, ratings)

  • With payment processors for payout processing

  • With service providers assisting platform operations

  • If required by law, court order, or government authority

  • To protect platform security and prevent fraud

All third parties are required to maintain confidentiality and use data only for authorized purposes.
 

8. Data Retention

We retain astrologer data:

  • As long as your account remains active

  • As required for legal, tax, accounting, or compliance purposes

  • For dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and enforcement of agreements

You may request account deletion, subject to pending financial settlements or legal obligations.
 

9. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect astrologer data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
 

10. Professional Conduct & Confidentiality

Astrologers agree to:

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of client information

  • Not misuse or disclose client data outside the platform

  • Not solicit clients outside the platform if restricted under agreement

  • Provide services ethically and professionally

  • Comply with applicable laws and platform policies

Violation of these terms may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account.
 

11. Children’s Privacy

Astrologers must not knowingly provide services to individuals under the age of 13. AstroBless does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
 

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Astrologer Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
